The Mallorcan Anima Negra: AN 2

Looking for a wine to pair with spicy dishes? This week I have chosen one with a "black soul" from the island of Mallorca, which part of the Spanish Balearic Islands. Smoky and spicy, with notes of vanilla, almonds and black pepper, AN 2 is a blend of indigenous grapes Callet, Mantonegro, Fogoneu, blended with Syrah. Smooth and complex, this wine is medium to full-bodied and can go very well with foods as spicy lamb, stew and game.
